Bio

Jody Hester was born and raised in Iowa. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Iowa, she moved to Grenoble, France where she lived for 2 ½ years before returning to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to start her real estate career. There she specialized in new home construction and existing home sales. After three years in Cedar Rapids, she decided to fulfill her dream of living in a ski town and moved to Bozeman to continue her real estate career.

Since 2003, Jody has played an active part in the Gallatin Association of Realtors (GAR), Bozeman Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Montana Building Industry Association (SWMBIA), City of Bozeman Vandalism and Graffiti Task Force, along with appointments on the GAR Board of Directors and Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board.

In 2007, Jody obtained her Broker’s license and became co-owner in a small independent real estate agency until 2009 when she enthusiastically joined Bozeman Broker Group. Her focus continues to be on new construction and existing home sales in the downtown market. She has gained a reputation as a hard working agent who makes the home buying and selling process fun and treats her clients as she would friends and family.

In her free time, Jody can be found on a board or skis in the winter, and a golf course, river or hike in the summer. She loves to travel in the U.S., abroad, and on the back roads in her jeep. In a tent, hostel, or four star hotels, Jody loves experiencing different cultures, rituals, foods, and meeting new friends in her travels.
