Bio
Jacquie Persons, originally from the east coast of Florida, often feels that her life really began when she discovered Montana in 1982. She came out to work a summer job in Yellowstone after her junior year at the University of Vermont. It was just one year later, the day after graduating, that she packed up her car and headed to Big Sky country. Jacquie opened a business at the Big Sky Resort, which she owned for 22 years. She has had a remarkably diverse career path including working as a Park Ranger and a N.O.L.S. instructor. She has been a Realtor for 8 years, and her long history in the area has served her well in the real estate business.
Jacquie has consistently focused on improving her real estate skills though education. In addition to becoming a Broker, she also holds the GRI, CRS and the ABR certifications. Jacquie has specialized in resort home sales for a number of years, but now finds her favorite deals are the ones where she assists first-time homebuyers and families. She seeks to empower individuals and families to make meaningful real estate decisions that will advance their goals. Jacquie has a keen eye for design, and knows how to make a home show in its’ best light. She has designed and built several homes of her own, and is knowledgeable about the new construction process.
Jacquie joined Bozeman Broker Group in 2010, the newest member of the BBG team. She chose BBG because she recognized that as a company and as individuals, the Broker/Owners of Bozeman Broker Group showed a responsibility to stewardship, both to the land and to the real estate profession. Jacquie approaches every transaction with integrity, compassion and humor, and her many clients will attest to this. Jacquie is continually evaluating what she is doing, and comparing it to what is possible and what is needed.
In her spare time, Jacquie can be found outdoors with her children and her dogs, on the tennis courts, the ski slopes or road biking around the Gallatin Valley.
